SH53 & US95, Hayden, Idaho
C. L. Heilman conducted all bridge construction on two new pre-stressed concrete girder bridges on Highway 53 over the Union Pacific Railroad and US95. Scarsella Brothers was the prime contractor and HMH Engineering the consultant representing the State. The project was one of the best-organized and well-built jobs we have ever participated in. CLH utilized Giatech maturity curve sensors to verify concrete strength and improve the schedule. It is our hope that the industry continues to evolve utilizing the combined benefit of concrete sensors and high strength concrete.
